Motherhood turned me into a Textile Designer and a fabric junkie!

Soy Elvina una joven madre de 3 años. ¡Encantado de conocerte!
Comencé como diseñador de interiores y de alguna manera terminé en el diseño textil.
En realidad así es como sucedió...
Cuando tuve a mis 2 hijos, me tomé un descanso de mi trabajo a tiempo completo en una empresa de diseño de interiores. Como joven mamá y diseñadora, tuve problemas para encontrar la tela perfecta para nuestra guardería. Entonces la idea de crear mi propia tela vino a mi cabeza, ¡y tenía todo el sentido!
¡Eso fue todo! ¡Estaba enganchado!
Desde que comencé a diseñar telas, he tenido la suerte de organizar mi vida de tal manera que puedo dedicar más y más tiempo a mi tienda y pasión. ¡Estoy muy feliz de ser parte de esta comunidad inspiradora y talentosa llamada Etsy!
El diseño significa todo para mí.

Mi mente está trabajando constantemente en un modo de "diseño textil": ¡veo formas, colores, patrones en todas partes! Oh, a veces me vuelve loco, ¡pero al menos no puedo quejarme de la falta de inspiración! ;) Los niños también son una gran fuente de inspiración para mí. Trato de aportar su maravilla y creatividad a mis diseños. Tengo tantas ideas que solo deseo más tiempo para implementarlas. ¡Ser esposa, madre y diseñadora no deja suficientes horas en un día!
Me encanta el diseño de interiores, el diseño gráfico, la fotografía, la comida (para cocinar y comer) y por supuesto, ¡el DISEÑO TEXTIL!
Creo telas lindas, pero frescas y divertidas con un toque moderno.
Mi madre, que me dio el gen creativo en primer lugar, en realidad me ayuda con mi tienda. ¡Hacemos una lluvia de ideas juntos, compartimos bocetos y ella mece la máquina de coser!
Mis productos no son producidos en masa, sino exclusivos, únicos y de pequeña cantidad. Todos están diseñados por mí, y trabajo muy duro para elegir las mejores ideas de mi cabeza, ejecutar mis mejores capacidades y entregar productos listos para usar.
Cada venta me da un gran impulso de autoestima, y sonrío todo el día de oreja a oreja, y luego me esfuerzo aún más para encontrar algo nuevo y emocionante.

I am Elvina a young mom of 3. Nice to meet you!
I started out as an interior designer and somehow ended up in textile design.
Actually this is how it happened...
When I had my 2 children, I took a break away from my full-time job at an interior design company. As a young mom & designer I had trouble finding the perfect fabric for our nursery. Then the idea of creating my own fabric came into my head, and it made total sense!
That was it! I was hooked!
Since I started designing fabrics, I've been fortunate to arrange my life in such a way so that I can dedicate more and more time to my shop and passion. I am so happy to be a part of this inspiring, talented community called Etsy!
Design means everything to me.
I LOVE it!
My mind is constantly working in a "textile design" mode - I see shapes, colors, patterns everywhere! Oh sometimes it drives me crazy, but at least I cannot complain about a lack of inspiration! ;) Children are also a huge source of inspiration for me. I try to bring their wonder and creativity into my designs. I have so many ideas I only wish for more time to implement them. Being a wife, mother and designer leaves not enough hours in a day!
I love interior design, graphic design, photography, food ( to cook AND eat) and of course, TEXTILE DESIGN!
I create cute, yet fresh, funny fabrics with a modern flair.
My mom, who gave me the creative gene in the first place, actually helps me with my shop. We brainstorm together, share sketches and she rocks the sewing machine!
My products are not-mass produced, but exclusive, unique and small-quantity. They are all designed by me, and I work very hard to pick out the best ideas from my head, execute to my best capabilities, and deliver ready-to-use product!
Every sale gives me a huge boost of self-esteem, and I grin all day from ear to ear, and then try even harder to come up with something new and exciting.
