Wearable Art for Dancing Under the Stars
Hi, I'm Damini, the owner of New Moon Magic Studio.
Every piece I create is inspired by the mystery of the night sky here in the Appalachian Mountains (the oldest in the world!). I use ethically sourced crystals and hypoallergenic metals to create pieces that celebrate colorful self-expression and connection.
The lore: In 2019 New Moon Magic made its first sale (a pair of earrings at a festival in Floyd, VA) on the night of the Virgo new moon. I was working there and at the last minute decided to bring some of my pieces along. It turned out to be a very auspicious decision; since then I've been creating unique statement jewelry with the intention of self expression, authenticity, and the celebration of one's own magic.
So far, I've created pieces for over 4,000 people to adorn themselves, or give as intentional gifts for that special someone who is unapologetically themselves. I'm especially proud that I've been able to create high quality pieces that can be worn for a long time, and hoop earrings that make a statement without being heavy.
In 2022 I began upcycling clothing with patches, dyes, and block prints. Each piece is completely unique and one-of-a-kind. Follow my shop so you don't miss one of these rare clothing drops!
