A Baby Line Designed With Adults in Mind
I've been part of the Etsy community since 2010, when I started selling vintage housewares out of my college dorm room. Selling beautiful, quality products has always been something that brings me great joy. My husband Matt and I met in 2012, and I introduced him to Etsy and my little shop, and he was instantly hooked and joined me in selling.
So, how did we go from selling vintage to creating a line of baby items? I've always been one of those people that has too many ideas and wants to run in 50 different directions at once. Most of the ideas pass after a few days, but the idea for Newbees was on the back burner of my brain for over a year ... just percolating and waiting to be born. We finally took the plunge at the end of 2015 and launched our line of burp cloths. I wanted to create a product that was designed for the adults who were raising their little ones. Something to make them laugh. Something that was pleasing to the eye in a sea of children's toys and bright primary colors. But also something that was practical and high quality.
