4 out of 5 starsI bought this digital subway board as a birthday gift for my boyfriend who lives right next to the B/Q and is always cutting it close catching his trains. It’s a functional art piece we both love — and overall, he’s pretty happy with it. Knocking off one star for UI concerns, though.. It’s a hassle to have to fully disconnect, reconnect, and reconfigure the whole interface just to switch subway lines, change the layout, or update the sleep-timer. An app update addressing this would easily make it a 5/5!

The display connects to your home WiFi and pulls real-time arrival data from the MTA. It updates automatically throughout the day — no app or subscription needed.
Is it hard to set up?
Not at all! Setup takes about 2 minutes. Just plug it in, connect to the "Next Train" WiFi on your phone, enter your home WiFi password, and pick your station. That's it!
Does it work with all subway lines?
Yes! It works with all NYC subway line plus LIRR, Metro-North, and NYC buses.
Will it damage my wall?
Nope! It comes with an adhesive wall hook — no drilling or nails needed. Perfect for renters.
What if I move or change stations?
Just visit: nexttrain.local on your phone while connected to the same WiFi to update your line, station, or WiFi network anytime. Takes under a minute.
What's the difference between Tabletop and Wall Mount?
Tabletop: Made to sit on a desk, shelf, or nightstand. The power cord comes out the back so it stays hidden behind the display.
Wall Mount: Made to hang on your wall with the included adhesive hook. No drilling needed. The power cord comes out the bottom.
