Nibo loves details and all things useful
Perhaps you have found yourself looking at a wall lately, thinking it needs something. Well if it’s not a fresh coat of paint it needs, it's probably missing something that stops the eye. Nibo makes work (even for columns and bathrooms) as eye-stopping, talking points in the home. Little pauses of interest amid the vastness of an empty wall.
Some of the work, such as the Maze Series, even has professional use, it was made for visitors, in waiting rooms, to pass their time trying to solve them.
Take a look at the Sketchbook Series, where you might find something which you think you should often be reminded of, perhaps that Love is THE lesson in life or that Anger backfires, to name but two.
Machine Series are colourful charms (if you believe in that sort of thing!) to help along with your goals. Alternatively, you can view them as never failing, silently working man-made mechanisms, a testament to human ingenuity.
Meager Means Series is about the resilience and resourcefulness of humans during harsh times and poverty. Represented with the ever so crudely hammered nail showcasing the ever so useful, even poetic potentials of the wire. A Series intended to remind us to be humble and content with what we already have.
Nibo is also into stationery design i.e. calendars organizers, notebooks and other useful and thoughtful things.
For 2022 there will be 2 weekly calendars, an annual and a biennale, with plenty of discreetly presented information and room for notes. Also a set of 12 bookmarks are to be released during December ‘21.
All items are designed and (most times) numbered & signed by Nibo®
