Crafts and Products From Our Farm
I have always been a "crafty" person, enjoying things my mother taught me to do as a young person, and expanding on my own through creation and the wonder of the internet.
Several years ago our family settled out of a hectic life in the military and bought a piece of undeveloped land into which we have been pouring our energy, making our dream of a small family farm come true.
Now that the farm is (slowly) under way, I have been inspired by the amazing abundance of materials available to craft with. I will continue with my beadwork, and now I have fresh herbs and flowers, sheep's fleeces, eggs, and so much more to work with.
Everything I sell in the shop was made right here on Nine Trees Farm, and most of our products (beadwork excluded) contain materials that were grown or found on the farm.
Our latest venture has been exploring the exciting world of shepherding. We have a flock of Finnsheep and Gotland sheep, both of which produce beautiful, luxurious fibers (which my budding spinning fetish appreciates!), as well as an abundant crop of lambs each spring. Our sheep have opened a whole new world to us, and we love sharing our farm with these special animals.
