Mid-western U.S. Disabled artist starts studio and brings a whole family together through art.
We are from Wisconsin, Mid-western U.S. I started my studio in 1999. Over the years the number of children my wife and I brought in this world grew. There are so many ugly things in life that are thrown in our faces everyday. I am disabled, but I really believe art can change people in a positive way. It has for my family and myself. Art in its beauty and brash, calm and fiery natures. In whatever an artist needs to bring to life. People need artist, poet's, and dreamers. Idealist's that have stubborn beliefs that they can make a difference. Even if it's on person at a time. I tell my family find beauty in the ugliness, and bring it out, help it grow into something amazing. I started this shop for my family, and for you. because we want to create beautiful things for you to make us and you smile, or frown. However you want to make you feel to help you be alive and not dead inside. Someone here will probably create something that speaks to you. I'll admit the shops pretty rough right now. There is not a lot of stuff up yet, but in my defense I'm not really great with getting pictures of the stuff onto the computer and then onto Etsy. So there is a lot of art, that is presently not in the shop. But it's coming I promise you. Come on back if you don't find something right away. Something original is always on the way. Well, to what each of us do. I paint in mixed media on traditional and non traditional items, oil paints primarily. I also sculpt, and work with metal, and clay, and anything else I can get my hands on. My wife works in acrylics and chalk, and sketching people, and whatever lights up her heart and mind. My kids from oldest to youngest. Oldest, she works in watercolors and sketching, and colored pencils. The next oldest is my sportiest kids, he's really talented and is not as sure about himself in his art, He's a random. My middle child now she'd really blossoming into something amazing. she's able to create about anything, you'll be hearing more about her over the years. My second youngest is really young but is fun and excited about creating. So we'll see what happens. My youngest is still to young to really participate. But is proficient on coloring on walls and doors, and breaking things into interesting shapes. So help us buy a broom, and art supplies. So we can continue to create new and interesting art. Well Thank you for reading my long winded lettery thing about myself and family.
