5 out of 5 starsI was so excited to find this! My sister used to own a gift store for many years which makes finding a gift for her very difficult. I was originally looking for a Kitchen Witch like the one that always hung from the light over our childhood kitchen table. This Shield Maiden was even better as she and I have recently been looking into the folklore and history of the Norse people as our father's side of the family emigrated from Norway. It came so nicely wrapped that I didn't even open the inner layer of wrapping. So she and I saw the doll for the first time when she opened all of her gifts. The doll is beautifully made with an obvious attention to detail. I will absolutely be returning to this store to purchase more gifts.
