Our story started right here in Minnesota, the day our son was born.
Like any new parent, we received a lot of gifts and toys — but we really just wanted him to have things that represented the wildlife and nature we love so much. We wanted him to be able to touch and hold the animals we see every day, and when we couldn't find what we were looking for, I decided to build it myself.
What started as a simple gift turned into months of trial and error. I wanted to make sure every piece was solid, smooth, and built to handle real, everyday play. Seeing him hold and discover these pieces for the first time was the best part of the process — and it's why I keep creating today.
Every puzzle in our shop is designed, laser-cut, and hand-finished by me right here in Minnesota. I take a lot of pride in what I do, because I know these aren't just items in a box — they're a small part of your child's daily adventures.
Thank you for supporting our family and letting us share a little piece of the North with your little ones.

5 out of 5 starsMy kids love this puzzle! My kids have been using this puzzle for 4 months and it has held up to anything thrown at it or throwing the puzzle itself. The packaging was very nice and protected the puzzle well in shipping. The images are clear and do not fade over time I was pleasantly surprised! I will for sure be buying another one.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of wood do you use?
We use high-quality Basswood for our puzzles. It’s a fantastic material that allows for clean, detailed cuts while remaining lightweight and smooth to the touch.
How durable are the pieces?
We built the first version of these for our own son, so we made sure they could handle real life. The Basswood we use is thick enough for everyday play without snapping or breaking, even in the hands of a curious toddler.
Are these puzzles safe for my child?
Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. Every puzzle is finished to ensure there are no sharp edges or splinters, and we use a non-toxic wood sealer so you can feel good about your little one handling them. While we take every precaution in our workshop, these puzzles are recommended for children ages 3 and up.
Can I request a specific animal or fish?
We're always open to new ideas! If there is a specific wildlife species or outdoor theme you’d love to see in the shop, feel free to send us a message. We love hearing what our customers are looking for next.
Where are these made?
Every single puzzle is designed, laser-cut, and hand-finished by us right here in our workshop in Minnesota. We handle every step of the process from start to finish.
How do I clean and care for the wood?
To keep your puzzle looking its best, simply wipe it with a damp cloth if needed. We recommend avoiding soaking the wood or using any harsh chemicals. Because of the food-safe sealer we use, they are very easy to maintain.
