Comfort & Love
Not Very Lady Like started for me with a different name, lots of different names really but once that phrase popped into my head I knew it rang true. Growing up as a girl there is a lot of pressure to 'act like a lady' and I want girls and women to know that they should not be stifled under this label. There are no terms and conditions to being a woman, YOU decide how you want to do it.
I wanted to start making shirts because I love for things to be soft and subtle. I wanted to express my own personal take on comfort and love. I love girl power and good books, I hope my shop is an expression of that.
I'm a one woman shop but I also work with an amazing french designer named Carole to create the designs I can imagine but not execute on paper. She's so talented and i'm lucky to have found her!
