5 out of 5 starsI suddenly developed an allergy to maple syrup and was devastated. I can’t stand the fake gooey corn syrup they sell as maple syrup in the supermarket. So I was THRILLED to come across hickory syrup. I’ve been trying different sellers, but I think this one is my favorite. It’s got a lovely, slightly smokey, natural flavor with the consistency of maple syrup. It’s different, but a very acceptable substitute. It does rely on sweetness from organic cane sugar, but at least it’s organic and not corn syrup.
