OBC Rustic Haven is part of Our Backroom Creations, a small family business owned and operated by us—Jeanette and Floyd. From our workshop in New Philadelphia, Ohio, we create handcrafted home décor filled with rustic, primitive and old-fashioned charm.
Our love of creating began with a simple desire to turn ordinary materials into something special. Today, we design and make decorative wood pieces, shelf and desk sitters, seasonal décor and other handmade treasures inspired by primitive country homes, vintage finds, farmhouse style and folk art.
Each piece is carefully created with a timeworn appearance. We love distressed finishes, muted colors, aged details and the perfectly imperfect character that makes handmade décor feel as though it already has a story to tell.
Because our products are handmade and often made to order, no two pieces will be exactly alike. Natural wood grain, distressing, finish and placement may vary slightly. We believe these small differences are part of what makes every creation unique.
Some of our original artwork is created with the assistance of modern design tools and then personally selected, refined and adapted by us for our handmade products.
