I started this shop after falling deep into the rabbit hole of restoring my own Vortec Tahoe truck. Like many owners, I discovered the same frustrating problem: the internal HVAC doors (GM part numbers 52471363, 52469350, and 1550552) had failed because the stock seals were completely deteriorated. Airflow was weak, modes were inconsistent, and replacement doors are no longer available.
What began as a simple repair turned into a full engineering project. Using calipers, test prints, and real‑world fitment checks, I designed a modern replacement seal system using TPU85A, a flexible and durable material that will stand up for years to come. After testing in my own vehicle and other brave alpha testers, the results were clear: smooth operation, strong airflow, and a long‑term fix for a problem that the market no longer offers support for.
Every kit I make is printed and inspected by hand. I include shaft seals for worn or loose doors, because many GMT400 trucks have HVAC boxes that are warped or aged after 25+ years. I also provide detailed instructions so owners can restore their climate system with confidence.
This shop exists for one reason: to help keep these trucks on the road with parts that simply don’t exist anymore. If you’re restoring a GMT400 or fixing your airflow issues, I’m glad you’re here and I’m proud to offer a solution built by a DIYer, for DIYers.

5 out of 5 starsslips right on trim it to size and just add some glue now all my doors function how they should, glad I found these was trying to rig them with foam. I did go overboard on high temp jb weld.
