Thank you, Shane. I’m really glad you love the piece. One thing I do want to clarify is that the darker, more weathered look is very intentional. Each bowl is worked over an open flame, then I add the pyrography by hand, saturate the wood with oil, seal it with beeswax, and buff it out. That process is part of what makes it a working ritual bowl. There is a lot of time, energy, and intention put into every one, and the marks of fire and handwork are part of the finished piece, not signs that it has been used. Each one comes out a little different, which is also why I note in the listing that no two are exactly alike. Thank you again for the five stars and for giving this one a home.

The package itself was very thoughtful 💗 She included some cedar sticks along with a prayer to Odin and a link to more learning. Thank you so much, Ingrid. I’m glad the bowls feel right for your altar, and of course I wanted to make sure you received exactly what you needed. One small clarification: the wood I included is not cedar. It is tjärved, a resin-rich pine that produces a beautiful smoke, and I use it to clear and prepare a space before ritual work. Thank you for recognizing the thought and care that went into your set. It truly means a great deal to me. Keele :)
