Hi, my name is Maya — born and raised in Chicago, IL. While I grew up in the heart of the city, life has brought us to a small town about two hours south of Chicago, where we’ve found a peaceful space to grow, create, and dream.
ONMONIE was born out of both purpose and passion. Named after my beautiful daughter Simone, whose name inspires the heart of this shop. Her positive spirit, strength, and kind heart serve as my daily motivation. Through her eyes, I’ve been reminded of the power of faith, family, and the simple beauty found in everyday life. Many of our designs carry her touch — inspired by her love for people, her strong faith, and her joyful outlook on life.
