This Privacy Policy describes how OWLJDM LLC (“OWLJDM,” “I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you purchase an item from OWLJDM, contact me, or otherwise interact with my shop through Etsy.com or Etsy’s related services.

This policy applies only to information that I receive or process as an independent Etsy seller. It does not apply to the privacy practices of Etsy or other third parties that I do not own or control. Etsy’s collection and processing of information is governed by Etsy’s own Privacy Policy.

Information I Collect

To fulfill your order, Etsy may provide me with certain personal information, including:

Your name
Email address
Shipping address
Billing address, when applicable
The products you ordered
Personalization information or notes included with your order
Messages you send through Etsy
Information needed to process a return, replacement, refund, or customer-service request

Payment transactions are processed by Etsy and Etsy’s payment-service providers. I do not receive or store your complete credit-card number or other full payment-account information.

You may voluntarily provide additional information when contacting me, requesting a customized product, asking a product or fitment question, or otherwise communicating with OWLJDM.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I collect and use personal information only when reasonably necessary for purposes including:

I share information with Etsy as necessary to operate my shop, process orders, communicate with customers, and comply with Etsy’s policies and terms.

Shipping and Delivery Providers

I may provide your name, shipping address, email address, telephone number, or relevant order information to shipping and delivery providers when necessary to:

Deliver your order
Track a shipment

Process a shipping insurance claim

These providers may include the United States Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, or another delivery provider used for your order.

Order and transaction records are generally retained for up to seven years, unless a longer or shorter period is required or permitted by law.

Information that is no longer reasonably necessary will be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of where practical.

I take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect customer information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure.

However, no online service, electronic transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

For your protection, please do not send credit-card numbers, bank-account information, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through Etsy Messages.

International Customers

OWLJDM is based in the United States.

When you purchase through Etsy, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Etsy and its service providers operate. These countries may have privacy and data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Etsy’s handling of personal information and international data transfers is governed by Etsy’s own Privacy Policy.

OWLJDM does not claim participation in the Privacy Shield program or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

Request access to personal information I hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of certain information

Because Etsy controls much of the information associated with your Etsy account, purchases, and payment activity, certain privacy requests may need to be submitted directly to Etsy.

I will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children’s Privacy

OWLJDM’s services are not directed toward children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Orders placed through Etsy must comply with Etsy’s account and eligibility requirements.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in my business practices, Etsy’s services, or applicable laws.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.
