Items with a bit of a story, a dose of humor and overall good style

Started up my shop in December 2014, and have had a great time scouring all sorts of sources. I have always liked going to flea markets and estate sales, and often buy things for friends who I know would appreciate the things.

The fun thing about Etsy is that some funky little object that I find can be seen as a treasure to someone else in the world - and that alone is inspiration to keep hustling for the shop. Love that objects go to new and appreciative homes all over the place.

So please take a look around the shop. Hopefully I have something you'll like - or that would make a good gift for a friend of yours. Everything's negotiable (will even trade) so don't be afraid to get in touch.

Welcome to my shop! I'm a surfer, baker, dog owner, collector and handsome fellow. I am always on the prowl for quirky and humorous items - who has time to be serious? This side hustle gets me into really interesting conversations with fellow humans, and into some strange houses and dwellings - but that's what it takes to uncover these hidden treasures. Please enjoy my shop, am sure there is something for someone on your gift list.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery
I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Refunds ONLY if item is substantially different from the description and photos. Photos are a part of the description. View them for signs of wear and damage. No returns/refunds on custom orders. I use lots of photos and secret marks to confirm the validity of all returns. All other items: 7-day return privilege from day you received it, and should be back to me within 18 days of day you received it (foreign buyers-I realize our Homeland Security can delay that. I take the postal cancellation date into consideration).

Most of my items are antique or vintage so naturally are often NOT going to be in perfectly new condition as a result (faults will be listed), therefore items cannot be returned for those faults/wear. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges are not refunded. No partial refunds. Full refund of item price once it is returned. Item must be returned in the condition it was sent to you. Damaged/lost in shipping...you must fully cooperate with filing a claim with the post office or shipper, and you will be refunded once the claim is finalized.
Payment
All standard forms of payment are accepted. CHECKS/money orders/cashier's checks may be held until they clear, so expect shipping delays on these forms of payment, unless you are using USPS money orders. CREDIT CARDS are accepted through Etsy Direct Checkout, Paypal. LAY-AWAYS can be set up on larger items...contact me for terms.
Shipping
We do not make a profit on shipping like some sellers. Our charges are actual costs for shipping and packing. However, etsy does not allow for multiple rates to be listed based on your region, so if you feel you've been substantially overcharged, contact us. Shipping is usually 1-3 days after purchase.

Shipping is usually by the cheapest method the USPS offers to save you money, plus the cost of tracking, insurance and packing materials. If you need faster shipping, contact me for availability. All items are shipped with tracking info/insurance #'s to avoid scammers and to verify return/refund requests. Orders may not be accepted from zip codes that can't be insured.

If you live in an area where you do not trust a package being left on your doorstep - please ask in advance of purchase for 'signature required' option, and I am happy to set that up.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Ask for rates if not listed. If you are substantially overcharged for shipping, I'll refund the difference. Customs fees/VAT/brokerage fees are your responsibility. Remember also that international shippers and/or customs agencies can sometimes take weeks or even months to clear packages for delivery. We have no control over this. I am happy to explore your shipping situation personally in advance of purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
Many of my items are one-of-a-kind, and I have local customers looking at them. If you buy something that has just sold locally and wasn't yet removed, the order will be cancelled and your full payment returned to you, unless I have a duplicate item in stock. You can always contact me before your purchase to confirm the item is still available.
