5 out of 5 starsStunning piece! I came across this work of art while shopping for a small urn, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how lovely it was. I took a chance and purchased it, and I was blown away by the craftsmanship and beauty. It glows in the light and is even lovelier in person. This was my first purchase from Off The Lathe, but it definitely won’t be my last!

5 out of 5 starsThis item was finely crafted and rendered by the artist from a stunning piece of figured and highly chatoyant maple. Although titled a "Bowl," I find this nearly flat, 8-1/2" piece more akin to a saucer since it has just a suggestion of a 4" depression at the center, suitable to steady a shallow dip container. Mostly I see it as a gloriously beautiful display item to admire and touch!
