5 out of 5 starsThis item was finely crafted and rendered by the artist from a stunning piece of figured and highly chatoyant maple. Although titled a "Bowl," I find this nearly flat, 8-1/2" piece more akin to a saucer since it has just a suggestion of a 4" depression at the center, suitable to steady a shallow dip container. Mostly I see it as a gloriously beautiful display item to admire and touch!
