Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how I collect, use, and share personal data when you visit my Etsy shop, place an order, or contact me.

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with this shop is:

Claudia Joller | OHLOA Coaching by Claudia Joller-Senn
c/o Feldhöhe 23, 6280 Hochdort
cocojoller@proton.me

2. Personal Data I Process

I process personal data that is necessary to fulfill your order or communicate with you. This may include:
- name
- billing and shipping address
- email address
- payment-related information made available to me through Etsy for order processing
- order details
- communications you send to me
- technically necessary information provided through Etsy or connected services

Etsy states that sellers receive certain buyer information for order fulfillment and must use that information in accordance with applicable privacy rules.

3. Purposes of Processing

I process your personal data for the following purposes:
- to fulfill and deliver orders
- to communicate with you regarding your order
- to handle complaints, refunds, and customer support requests
- to comply with legal obligations, especially accounting, tax, and record-keeping obligations
- to pursue legitimate interests, including shop administration and defending legal claims

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable, I process personal data on the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract, when I process and fulfill your order
- compliance with legal obligations, such as tax and bookkeeping obligations
- legitimate interests, such as shop administration, fraud prevention, or legal enforcement
- consent, where required for specific processing activities, for example if you actively sign up for marketing outside Etsy

Printful’s privacy documentation also refers to lawful bases such as contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, and consent.

5. Sharing of Personal Data

I share personal data only where necessary to provide my services or comply with legal obligations. This may include sharing data with:
- Etsy, as the platform through which sales and parts of payment processing take place
- Printful, for producing, personalizing, packaging, and shipping ordered items
- payment providers, where payment processing is handled through Etsy or related services
- shipping and logistics providers, to deliver your order
- accounting, tax, or legal advisors, where necessary for compliance or legitimate interests
- public authorities or courts, where I am legally required to do so

Etsy requires sellers to be transparent about how buyer information is used, including for shipping, analytics, marketing, or sharing with third parties. Printful also provides data processing terms for merchants.

6. International Transfers

Because I sell internationally and work with providers such as Etsy and Printful, personal data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. The European Commission explains that transfers to third countries should rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, where required.

To the extent applicable, I rely on the safeguards implemented by the platforms and service providers I use.

7. Retention Period

I retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, comply with legal retention obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce contractual rights.

Etsy’s privacy policy also emphasizes transparency regarding how data is used and retained.

8. Your Rights

Depending on the applicable data protection law, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
- request restriction of processing
- object to certain processing activities
- request data portability, where applicable
- withdraw consent for future processing where processing is based on consent

The official EU privacy statements describe these core rights as standard data protection rights.

To exercise your rights, please contact me using the contact details above. Please note that Etsy may also act as an independent controller for certain processing activities. More information is available in Etsy’s own privacy policy.

9. Marketing

I do not automatically use your personal data for marketing outside order fulfillment unless you have expressly consented. If I offer newsletters or other direct marketing in the future, this will be done in accordance with applicable law and, where required, with your consent. Etsy explicitly notes that if seller data use goes beyond Etsy’s order flow, such as newsletters or analytics, sellers must comply with applicable transparency rules.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The version published in the shop at the relevant time will apply.
