The Inspiration
Growing up surrounded by my grandmother’s vintage trinkets, I became obsessed with the soul of 'old things.' There’s a specific magic in a piece of jewelry that has survived decades—it’s not just an accessory; it’s a tiny time capsule.
However, I noticed that many beautiful vintage stones were trapped in outdated or damaged settings. That’s how Old Gem Studio was born: a curated space dedicated to preserving the elegance of the past while breathing new life into artisan creations.
Our Process: Curated & Crafted
The Hunt: We travel to estate sales and hidden markets to find authentic vintage pieces that resonate with character.
The Studio: Using traditional tools—hammers, pliers, and a lot of patience—we restore or reimagine these treasures.
The Ethics: By choosing curated vintage and artisanal handiwork, you are supporting sustainable fashion and reducing the demand for newly mined materials.
