Creating Happiness

The Secret Garden was my favorite movie as a little girl, and having a large garden was something I had always wanted. Fast forward to 2007 when the Secret Garden did not top my favorite movie list, but growing my own large garden was still a dream going strong. I began drawing flowers to fill the spaces on my notecards until the day when I could fill a garden with them.

And that is when Olive and Ruby was born.

Aside from coming up with new drawings, my favorite part of the process is adding the rich saturated colors to make the pieces come alive. The result is a stationery, wedding and calendar line that is nature-inspired, full color and gives a little nod to vintage design.

I still do not have my own personal secret garden, but I love spending my days creating floral cards, calendars and wedding invitations.
