Addicted To Charm and Vintage Jewelry
I'll never forget when I was a little girl, my Aunt Judy gave me a charm bracelet from San Francisco where she lived. It had charms of the city... the Golden Gate Bridge, a trolley charm, etc. I loved and cherished that bracelet for many years. Unfortunately, the bracelet was lost, but never the memory.
I admit it - I AM ADDICTED TO CHARMS AND VINTAGE JEWELRY. I wear them, I study them, I troll for them where I live and where I travel. I scour all kinds of shops, flea markets and antique malls for those special components that are uniquely one of a kind, no longer in production pieces. ( It's the thrill of the treasure hunt that I love too! ) While this jewelry can often be worn as is, I often will take apart the piece to create new custom pieces.
It's that layered eclectic mix of pieces that I crave, pieces that have meaning and a sense of history --- some humbling, some precious, some spiritual. For me, things need to have a story; a history behind them.
As a wife and a mother, I'm also a family photo fanatic, which is why making custom photo charm jewelry is so close to my heart. So the marrying of my two passions came naturally. Combining re-purposed vintage finds with custom photo charms has not only been my best sellers, but most rewarding for me to create.
It is my hope that you find a charming treasure for you or a loved one that will be cherished for many years to come.
