I can't even begin to say how beautiful this ring is. My husband and I have been married for almost 3 years and just now got our rings. After looking through hundreds, I found this one. It is just the amount of feminine I wanted and practical too. I wasn't looking forward to having a clunky diamond on my finger all the time! I also love the fact that the seller used recycled silver and it makes me happy I could support her instead of the diamond business! It was just enough money to make it special, but not too much to feel like a waste. I had to get a custom order since my finger is so small. This was the first time I had ever bought a ring or worn one so I was nervous about the fit! At the beginning it felt tight, but I got used to it and it slides off easily if I run my finger under water. Great seller, awesome product!! :)

One Little Star is hand carved jewelry made by me for you.

My name is Catherine and my jewelry company is One Little Star. I work on One Little Star out of my home studio. I have always loved making art. When I found wax carving and the lost wax process I knew it was just what I was looking for. Wax allows me to create wearable art work with tools I have at home.

The first pieces that I made that made me think that I could start an etsy shop were Seven Sisters necklaces that I made for my own wedding. I liked making something unique that I could give to people that I cared about.

I am always coming up with ideas for new pieces. My biggest problem is finding the time to make them. I carry around I sketch book with me and I am always doodling designs and inspirations and writing down notes.

I love getting pieces back from casting. I get excited every time to see the result of my work in metal.
