As I got older, our lessons eventually progressed to machine sewing and more advanced projects such as apparel and handbags. I remember being in high school and not being satisfied with anything in my closet to wear for the next day at school. I was determined to not look like anyone else I had seen before. I would stay up all night cutting up an old shirt of my brothers, turn pants into a skirt, or turning sneakers into open-toe flats.
My passion for creating evolved into my college career path. I graduated in 2009 with a degree from Georgia Southern University in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design. GO EAGLES!!! While there, I honed my sewing skills which further fueled my desire to create. I naturally progressed into other media such as jewelry design, makeup artistry, photography, painting, graphic design and pretty much any and all artistic venues.
I try to live my life on the philosophy that "love is my religion." I derive my greatest inspiration from nature, music, music festivals, my precious doggie Kingston, and the never-ending support of my boyfriend Brad, our families, and my amazing friends (whom I consider family). Thanks for all of the good vibes!
