I am a mixed media collage artist with a passion for combining color, paper, texture, and words. I began creating art as a way to unwind from my "day job" as a budget analyst. I love the way collage uses a different part of my brain than number crunching!

I use a variety of materials including handmade paper, old book pages, maps, and re-purposed jewelry. I love creating landscapes and scenes using only paper in place of paint.

I make collages on small canvases (ranging in size from 2 Inches to 12 Inches). I also make triptychs (mini shrines or table altars) with inspirational sayings or words that many of my customers and friends use as meditation aids. They are perfect for a shelf, your desk or home altar...

I have also begun experimenting with combining collage with encaustic painting (hot wax mixed with color pigments, which creates luminous color)

I grew up in California, but currently live in Arlington, Virginia just outside of Washington DC.
