Optimum Modern was founded in 2017 with a simple idea: exceptional furniture shouldn't have to be newly made.
What began as a search for better quality furnishings for our own home quickly became a passion for restoring vintage mid-century modern furniture. After restoring hundreds of pieces, that passion has evolved into a carefully curated collection of exceptional designs chosen for their craftsmanship, character, and design.
Every piece is selected individually—not simply because it's vintage, but because it's worth preserving.
Each restoration is completed with the goal of honoring the original design while ensuring it performs beautifully in a modern home. From structural repairs and careful refinishing to custom details when appropriate, every decision is made to preserve what made the piece special while giving it decades of new life.
