Jewelry that circles back to what matters
It started with a broken bracelet.
A friend asked me to fix a chain she'd worn every day for years — nothing valuable, just a thin gold-plated link her sister had given her. Repairing it took an afternoon. Watching her put it back on took two seconds, and she teared up. That's when I understood that the pieces people love aren't the expensive ones. They're the ones that mean something.
Orbit & Gold started shortly after, at a small bench in [tu ciudad], Spain. I work with three metals, and each one does something different. 18k gold plating for warmth — the classic, the one that goes with everything. Rose gold for the pieces with a softer edge, the ones that catch the light differently on the skin. And stainless steel for what you never take off — in the shower, at the gym, in the sea. Steel doesn't tarnish, doesn't turn your skin green, and doesn't ask for special treatment. It just stays.
A lot of what I make is personalized: an initial, a date, a name, a set of coordinates. Send me the detail that matters and I'll build the piece around it. That's where the name comes from — everything in the shop is meant to orbit something that's already yours.
