How Origami Delights Folded into Life
Origami Delights had a simple start. I am the type of person that always needs to be doing something, and my hands must always be busy. So I started folding paper.
Simple things came first; cranes, lucky stars, ornaments. Since then, my folding has grown to include flowers, birds, boxes, centerpieces, bouquets, unit models and so much more. My shop is only a small glimpse into what I can do.
I could never get over the fact that I could take a simple piece of paper and turn it into something so beautiful.
Honestly, I still can't get over it. There is something magical about each and every creation. To see how, even though I used two identical pieces of paper to fold the same model, each piece has its own unique quirks, attitude and story.
I love to occasionally take a look back to the beginning, as I think everyone should. Start from the first page of sold orders, and move to the newest, page by page. I can see the change and the growth of my work; see how far I've come.
To remember each wedding, anniversary or baby shower that something was made for is amazing. I love when people send me pictures of my work in use. It adds another level of connection to each piece.
I love what I do, and I hope that each and every piece that you receive from me reflects that.. There is a little part of me in everything I fold, and I hope that you feel a connection with each piece you receive. My wish is that they speak to you, and that you or a loved one will treasure each one for years to come.
