ORVUNI PRIVACY POLICY

1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

I am Rizwan, the owner of Orvuni, based in Pakistan. This policy explains how I collect, use, and share personal information when you purchase from or contact Orvuni through Etsy.

This policy covers information I handle as a seller. Etsy’s own collection and use of information is governed by Etsy’s Privacy Policy.

2. INFORMATION I RECEIVE

When you place an order, Etsy makes certain information available to me, which may include your name, email address, billing or postal address, purchase details, and order status.

I also receive information you voluntarily provide through messages, personalization requests, or support enquiries, including any screenshots or files you send.

Payments are handled through Etsy and its payment providers. Please do not send me passwords or full payment-card details.

3. WHY I USE YOUR INFORMATION

I use your information where necessary to:

• Fulfil your order and provide the purchased digital product.
• Answer questions and provide technical support.
• Complete personalization you have requested.
• Resolve payment issues, disputes, or other order problems.
• Maintain necessary business and accounting records.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.

Where applicable, the legal grounds for these activities are performance of our purchase agreement, compliance with legal obligations, and my legitimate interests in operating and protecting the shop, provided those interests do not override your rights.

If I request consent for an additional purpose, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

4. MARKETING

I do not sell or rent buyer information.

Purchasing from Orvuni does not automatically subscribe you to a mailing list. I will not use information obtained through Etsy to send unsolicited marketing messages. Any optional email marketing requires your separate consent.

5. WHEN INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED

I share personal information only when necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including:

• With Etsy to fulfil orders, provide support, and comply with Etsy’s rules.
• With service providers supporting business communications or recordkeeping, limited to what they need for their work.
• With professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations, address fraud, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. ORVUNI STAR STUDIO

The downloadable offline version of Orvuni Star Studio processes your design information locally in your browser.

Names, dates, locations, and artwork entered into the offline software are not automatically transmitted to Orvuni. Designs and exported files remain on your device unless you choose to share them.

If you send a design, screenshot, or other information to me for support, I handle that information under this policy.

7. RETENTION AND SECURITY

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil orders, provide support, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements.

Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose for keeping it, and any legal requirement that applies. Information no longer needed will be deleted from records under my control where practicable.

I take reasonable steps to protect buyer information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No electronic storage or communication method is completely secure.

Etsy controls the retention and security of records held on its own platform.

8. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

Orvuni operates from Pakistan, where I may access and process order and support information. Etsy and other service providers may process information in other countries under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Where an international transfer requires a legal safeguard or other lawful transfer basis, I will use the arrangements required by applicable data-protection law. You may contact me for information about arrangements relevant to your data.

9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information I hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of information.
• Request restriction of certain processing.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Receive certain information in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

These rights may be subject to exceptions, including where information must be retained to meet a legal obligation or handle a legal claim.
