This Privacy Policy details how I use information shared with me in order to process your purchase through Etsy.
In brief: I will make every effort to minimize the use of your personal data. I will only use the information you provide to me at the time of purchase to fulfill your order. I will keep a record of the item sold, the date of sale and quantity sold for my invoice and tax requirements, but your name and personal data will not be included in my personal records.
I will never use your personal contact details for marketing, and buyer history will be organized exclusively through Etsy, based on Etsy’s Buyer History. I respect your right to privacy and I respect GDPR.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties, including Etsy or any services you access through Etsy. Etsy has its own Privacy Policy which you can refer to in order to learn more about the Etsy privacy practices.
Personal Information:
To fulfill your order, I will use information provided to me by you through Etsy. This includes your name and postal address. If you choose to ask me for a custom order, this personal information may include a photo of the items you wish me to illustrate, etc.
I will use the information you provide in order to fulfill your order. In all cases I will only retain, use or share necessary information needed to fulfil your order and my own legal obligations, and no more.
Retention, Use and Sharing of Personal Information:
Tax: I will retain information about your purchase for my own tax purposes, as required by law.
Etsy: I will also use information about your purchase as required by the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
Service Providers: In the event that I use a third party, such as a delivery company, to fulfil my orders, I will share with them only the information necessary for them to fulfil your order, and no more.
Compliance Laws: If I am compelled by law to (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others, I may disclose your information to legal entities upon formal legal request, as required.
Data Retention:
I will retain your information in order to complete my services and fulfil my legal obligations. After completion of purchase I will only retain details about the item and quantity purchased for my itinerary. I will not retain your name, email or address.
Transferring information outside of Europe:
Japanese Tax: My shop is based in Japan, and I am subject to Japanese tax laws. As such, your transactions and information which I receive in order to process your order will be read in Japan, and possibly disclosed for my own tax purposes (price, quantity of items etc).
Your Rights:
- You have the right to request a copy of any personal information I hold about you.
- You have the right to change, restrict or delete the personal information I collect.
- You have the right to object to the way in which I handle your data. In all cases I will delete your personal data unless there is a compelling legal reason for me to retain it.
- You have the right to complain to your local data protection authorities about my use of your data under GDPR if you reside in the EU.
