Announcement    Vintage treasures collected from all over the United States. Items include advertising memorabilia and collectibles, toys and game, kitchen items, pottery, holiday, glassware, knick knacks, etc.

I started “collecting” (my kids call this hoarding) when I was 8 years old. I received a Coca-Cola dispenser toy and then I had to have everything Coca-Cola. Forty years later, this collection has grown to about 3,000 items. In the process of collecting these items, I discovered I liked yard sales, antique stores, flea markets, picking and shopping, too. I became interested in toys, tools, clocks, pottery, advertising memorabilia, depression glass, old furniture and every other vintage item.

Seeking out these treasures has become a hobby for my wife and me. In the past two years, we have completed the US 68 400 mile yard sale in Kentucky, the 400 mile Treasure Hunt on US 36 in Kansas, and the 300 mile Junk Jaunt in Nebraska. We have rescued several “leftovers.”

As with all collectors infected with the super shopping bug, I have a reached critical mass and have an unmanageable inventory of great treasures. I have not, however, lost the need to “treasure hunt.” So, I have decided to share my treasures with those who will truly appreciate them and in a way that will help sustain my never-ending quest for the best of mankind’s “leftovers.” - Gene
