5 out of 5 starsBuilding this table was so much fun! I’ve never built a thing in my life like this and it was straight forward. It’s beautiful! I used Yellow Pine for my wood and purchased it locally. Make sure your wood is dry. Just research that if you need. I did a learned a lot! Purchased different legs than the plans recommended. I got mine from Carolina Leg Company. Worked out perfectly with no issues. The table is HEAVY! I love that and I know it’ll last a long time. We had friends to borrow a saw from and Kreg screws as well as a Kreg jig… so the lumber cost roughly $70 and we purchased an orbital sander from Amazon for like $30 bucks roughly. Then stained and sealed the table. We don’t spend more than $200 on the table itself. Buying chairs and bench. thats a different story. That’s the expensive part.
