I started my Etsy shop in hopes of helping busy bodies to take care of themselves. Many people get caught up in the everyday life of working long hours, caring for loved ones, tending to children, etc. Getting caught in this everyday cycle could affectively cause mental and physical damage, so it's important to remember to pamper yourself.

I am a single mom of an energetic and inquisitive toddler boy. Ever since he was born, my main focus was and is him, and only him. After working a full day of work, I would leave my full-time job and suddenly start my second full-time job of being a mother. This left me with zero time and zero energy to mentally and physically take care of myself. Whenever a family member would take him to give me a "break," I would use that spare time to go to the grocery store, clean the house, and cook. My eating times were limited. Ten minutes showers were shortened to 2-3 minutes. Manicures, pedicures, and massages were words that were no longer in my vocabulary. I completely lost myself in MOMMYHOOD!

As my son started to grow more independently, I started to realized that I needed to take care of myself and treat myself in order to be 100% focused on taking care of him. Regular visits for manis, pedis, and massages were out of the picture for me, because (1) it wasn't part of my financial budget and (2) I didn't always have someone available to watch my son in order to go out and treat myself. This is when I started to think about some things I can do for myself at home and I would just treat it as an "at-home spa."

I've experimented with some home remedies, aromatherapy scents, and handmade bath and body products that have helped me to relax and reset at home. I hope what I have to offer in my Etsy shop will also help you to relax and reset!

Remember to care for self in order to care for others.
