The story so far.
Hello, and welcome to The Pride State! My name is Yuki, and I am the proud owner and sole designer of The Pride State. As a trans woman of Japanese descent, I have always believed in the power of diversity and inclusivity. That's why I created The Pride State, a store that celebrates these values through fashion and design.
I design all the products myself, from clothing and accessories to home decor and lifestyle products. Each item is carefully crafted to embody the spirit of diversity and inclusivity, with bold designs and vibrant colors that represent the many cultures, identities, and communities that make up our world.
One of the main reasons I started The Pride State was because I felt there was insufficient representation. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know how important it is to see oneself reflected in the products we use and wear every day. That's why I make it my mission to create products that celebrate and represent all members of the community.
I truly believe that everyone deserves to have the representation they need and deserve, and I am committed to providing that through my store. Whether you're looking for a Pride t-shirt, a Japanese-inspired hoodie, or a unique home decor piece, I strive to provide something for everyone.
I am truly grateful for all the support I have received in the past few years since I started The Pride State. When COVID hit and I couldn't find a job in the UX industry, I decided to take a chance and pursue my dream of starting my own business. The response has been overwhelming, and I am humbled by the love and support I have received from customers all over the world.
The Pride State is not just a store, but a representation of my values, beliefs, and dreams. I hope that through my products, I can inspire others to embrace diversity, inclusivity, and individuality.
By the way, Pocky, my beloved border collie, is the official mascot of The Pride State. Isn't he adorable!?
