Fabbricando dal loro laboratorio di produzione nel villaggio turistico di Leptokarya vicino al Mar Egeo e sotto il Monte Olimpo in Grecia, la coppia realizza e stampa a mano tutte le loro offerte nel loro negozio. La compagnia ha scoperto che sta iniziando ad Atene subito dopo che la scena psichedelica locale ha iniziato a ribollire nel 2001. L'idea per Paul era di creare un negozio di psy "per tutti gli elfi e le fate per trovare cose magiche da indossare" e di creare uno sbocco per la connessione all'interno della cultura psichedelica. Mentre la visione cresceva fino a diventare un sogno più imminente nel 2004, lasciò la città per aprire un negozio più in sintonia con la natura. Dopo aver fatto la sua casa a Leptokarya, Paul ha incontrato Elena che aveva un background in studi di moda e un amore per la produzione di abbigliamento e accessori fatti a mano nella partnership hanno adottato il nome "Druid" ispirato da un'esperienza al Rainbow Gathering del 1997 in Grecia e la magia è iniziata con Elena che cuceva oggetti e Paul che finiva con stampe. Con muse che vanno dalle culture psichedeliche ed etniche a madre natura, Druid aspira a rendere l'abbigliamento fatto a mano con consapevolezza ambientale una pratica più importante nella moda moderna
Fabricating from their production laboratory in touristic village Leptokarya near the Aegean sea and under Mount Olympus in Greece, the pair hand make and print all their offerings in their shop. The company found it’s beginning in Athens right after the local psychedelic scene began bubbling in 2001. The idea for Paul was to make a psy shop ‘for all the elves and faeries to find magical things to wear’ and to create an outlet for connection within the psychedelic culture. As the vision grew to a more imminent dream in 2004, he left the city to open a shop that was more in tune with nature. After making his home in Leptokarya, Paul met Elena who had a background in fashion studies and a love for making handmade clothing and accessories into the partnership they adopted the name “Druid” inspired from an experience at 1997’s Rainbow Gathering in Greece and the magic began with Elena sewing items and Paul finishing with prints. With muses ranging from psychedelic and ethnic cultures to mother nature, Druid aspires to make handmade clothing with environmental awareness a more prominent practice in modern fashion
