I was captivated by "Tatting Race" at first sight.

However, I did not understand the meaning of "shifting the eyes"
In the end, I made a lot of mistakes.
Borrow a bunch of books from the library or buy a beginner's kit
After trial and error, I will never forget the joy I felt when I first got a glimpse of it.
It is my favorite tatting race,
It takes a lot of time and effort to make it at first sight.
One day, more than 10 years before tatting
With the paint and brush of Tall Paint that I was doing
I decided to draw my favorite picture on the shuttle.
And every time the shuttle came into view,
Somehow my heart was excited,
Tatting is more fun than ever.
I felt very happy.

こんにちは、タティングレースのシャトルを
ハンドペイントでデコレーションしている
"Paintat Plus" です。
私が初めてタティングレースに出会ったのは
2012年頃 、ハンドメイド雑誌に載っていた
ペンダントの写真でした。
この繊細で美しいレース編みは何？
それまで見た事も聞いた事もなかった
"タティングレース"に一目で虜になった私は
さっそく 本、レース糸、シャトルを手に入れ
意気揚々とトライ！
ところが「目を移す」の意味がわからず
結局失敗ばかりでした。
図書館で何冊も本を借りたり、初心者用のキットを購入したり
試行錯誤の後、初めて一目が結えたときの喜びは今も忘れられません。
大好きなタティングレースですが、
一目一目結って作るのはとても手間と時間がかかります。
ある日、タティングを始める10年以上前から
やっていたトールペイントの絵の具と筆で
シャトルに好きな絵を描いてみる事にしました。
すると シャトルが目に入る度に
何だか心がウキウキして、
今まで以上にタティングが楽しくて
とても幸せな気持ちになりました。
この楽しさをたくさんの人にも感じて欲しい！
私が描いたシャトルで世界中のタティング好きの人達にもっと幸せな時間を過ごしてもらえたら！と思い
2016年、Etsyに "Paintat Plus" をオープンしました。
タティングレースを結う時間が
もっと幸せに感じられるよう
小さなシャトルに一つ一つ心を込めて
絵を描いてお届けしていきたいと
