Hi I’m Barbara Brummer and have enjoyed art my whole life but have definitely jumped around trying different mediums. Now that I’m 30, I am trying something completely new, and deep diving into mixed media fine art. Paintings currently consist of acrylic paints, spray paint, colored pencils, oil pastels, markers, and much more. Also these are painted in multiple different ways from paint brushes, to tooth brushes, to finger painting. I’m expressing my message in any way I see fit. I am currently working on painting pieces inspired by the top ten most endangered species according to World Wildlife Fund. A majority of the animals on this list are grey and black, which is sometimes looked as not bright beautiful colors. I’m deciding to bring colors into my painting to show that these animals are truly beautiful no matter what and deserve to be protected.
