A Letterpress Love Story
Paper Bandit Press was started by my husband and me, Brett and Kim Borup. We love the challenge and artistry involved in letterpress printing. It is a hands on, labor intensive process but we love it. We started the business so we could print our daughter's great card designs. Our other daughter, Candice, is a professional photographer and helps us with many of our stylized shots for our catalog.
We raised our family to value handwritten correspondence (our daughter, Stephanie Ford, says they are a large part of why she became a stationery designer) so it seemed a natural fit when we founded Paper Bandit Press.
We have two sets of designers: Stephanie Ford, who is our daughter, and Kristin Mills and Amy Shaffer who design as a team. We love their amazing work. And we've added some guest designers to the mix as well.
We are environmentally friendly. We recycle or reuse the packing our materials are shipped in and we print on sustainable cotton paper. Even our envelopes contain at least 30% post consumer waste.
We believe in giving back. So, 20% of our net profits goes to charitable causes. We thank you for buying from us making it possible for us to give back.
