This whole story began after our son was born. We wanted wall art for his nursery that was cute but stylish. Something that he wouldn't outgrow too quickly but that wasn't too old either. So I designed a simple template of a sailboat and using designer paper in the right colours began the process of paper art.
Using this idea of cute-but not-too-cute adds a certain timelessness to some of the pieces. These will remain long after the nursery has gone, but all will make lovely keepsakes.
The next step now is creating miniature versions for the up and coming stationery line. Simple cards with kind and quirky thoughts printed on them alongside one of our signature paper arts. Much more heading this way...
