Frequently asked questions
How do I download my files?
Once payment clears, go to You > Purchases and Reviews on Etsy (or open the link in your Etsy confirmation email) and click Download Files. The Etsy app doesn't always support downloads, so use a desktop browser if needed.
How do I edit the PDF?
Open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (desktop or mobile). Click a field and type. Files may not save or display correctly in browser previews or in Apple Preview. The Party Host Kit also includes a DOCX you can edit in Word or Google Docs.
Letter or A4: which should I use?
Both are included. Use US Letter (8.5×11 in) in the US and Canada, and A4 (210×297 mm) almost everywhere else. Print at "Actual size / 100%".
Printing tips?
Use a home printer or a local print shop. Heavier cardstock (about 65–110 lb / 176–300 gsm) works well for place cards and cut-out cards. Turn off "fit to page". Black-and-white printing is fine for the kids' kit, because the two homes use different patterns as well as different colours.
Will anything be mailed to me?
No. This is a digital download only, and no physical item is shipped.
Can I sell or share the files?
They're for personal use only. Please don't resell, share or distribute the files, or use them for commercial purposes.
Can I change names, like "Mom" and "Dad"?
Yes. The kids' kit includes a blank version with typeable names for each home, plus samples.
