Owner, Creator
I'm a very lucky girl who lives in a little yellow house and draws and doodles and cuts things out all day long - and into the night. Every sale is a blessing and allows me to buy the good coffee from time to time. Thanks!

Sarah
Assistant
Sarah insists that we take breaks to go for a walk a couple of times a day and makes sure that we get to the Post Office on time. Going for a ride is very important. Having the window down is also very important.

How to assemble the 3D shadowboxes
I have created a video for assembling my shadow boxes.
You can find it here:

Machine I use to test cut
Cricut Maker
Fine Point Blade. (I am still using the original blade that came in my machine 3 years ago)
Green mat, Cricut - Brand new is too sticky, so I put a sheet of paper down and pull it off a couple of times. If the mat is not sticky enough sometimes small intricate stuff will shred. (I wash my mats with dish soap and water when they get too unsticky and it brings them back to where they need to be.)
See the next FAQ for papers I use.
Papers and settings I use for testing
Neenah 67lb coverweight paper - white
I buy the 11 x 17 size, but it's also available 8.5 x 11
I buy it from Amazon
Cricut brand Cardstock - 12 x 24"
Fabriano Tiziano paper - https://www.dickblick.com/products/fabriano-tiziano-paper/
Comes in a big sheet that I cut down to the size I need
MACHINE SETTINGS
For the 67lb paper I cut on Light Cardstock setting. It is just about perfect.
For Cricut Card I cut on the Cardstock setting. Often I have to leave the mat in and cut a second time.
Fabriano Paper - Cardstock setting and cut twice if needed.
