Hello and welcome to my little retirement hobby. I've been creating art and products to sell for most of my adult life and have long since retired. However, my desire to continue making art will always continue as long I'm able to sit here on my computer and dream of new designs that make me smile and hopefully bring a bit of joy to you:)

* I design "Original Art" that is completely made by me and only sold here in my shop. I strive to " Think Of " new design ideas not yet seen, to stand out as an artist in an effort to offer something new and different. Some of my work is completely hand drawn, which is hard to find these days. And some are mixed with AI art. You won't find these designs anywhere else as they are "My Own Original Art" designed by be and exclusively here in my shop.

I started selling on Etsy as a party supply seller and grew my business called "The Sugar Diva" into one of Etsy's top 3% Etsy sellers. See story below:

I'm the gal who put "Printed Paper Straws" back in the marketplace and you won't believe where I got my idea. It was right here on Etsy! I saw the need and a golden opportunity and pounced on it and the rest is history. I'll never forget the day when that big tractor trailer truck filled with pallets of my paper straws, arrived at my home, it was a happy day:) AND...all I had to do was get them posted into my Etsy shop and they exploded.! I never spent a dime for marketing. All I did was put them on Etsy and our phone started ringing, from ALL OVER THE WORLD. It was a wild ride and one that I'll never forget.
And all those colorful printed "PAPER STRAWS" that exploded the marketplace a few years ago was just one of my success stories. It was me who put "Colored & Patterned" straws back into the market place and sold them to shops all over the world including Disney World Sweet Shops, Michaels Craft Stores, Home Goods, TJMax, Martha Stewart, World Market, Sur La Table, New York Bakery Shop, Crate & Barrel, and many, many more stores and shops worldwide.
Not long after that I was contacted by Simon and Schuster Publishers and was told that a celebrity author wanted to include my story in her new book, which led me to be included in Marlo Thomas book, "It Ain't Over Till It's Over" and many, many magazines including Martha Stewart, Paula Deen, and many others.

Upon retirement and because of my love for design, I created what started as HoneyShuck Farms and has been renamed to Paper Sugar Party Decor, as an outlet to continue my passion of art by creating and selling lovely home decor and gift items along with my digital art. Once again I grew this shop into another "Top Etsy Shop" for printable art with my unique designs that no one else was creating, as I thrived on "thinking of" and creating new art not yet seen in an effort to be an original designer. I owe my success to all my wonderful Etsy customers as I continue my love for creating art.!
I'm now 77 years old and have shared my life for the past 45 years with my amazing hubby, the love of my life, and who is now a disabled veteran. For years he has showered me with "love notes" scribbled on paper napkins. I've kept them all and probably have enough to wallpaper a room:)
We are also blessed with a wonderful family.
Our little Yorkie, "Maggie Mae", and 2 amazing daughters who also have their own Etsy shops, 4 granddaughters and 2 great grand-children. Life is good to me and I'm a lucky gal.
