From whimsical to edgy, from sentimental to quirky -- Paperhugger Studio offers delicately designed and handmade cut-paper art. Most are one-of-a-kind and no two items are alike. Custom orders are very much welcome.
Learning the art of papercutting in 2013 took me by surprise. I took part in a benefit exhibition the same year, where I had two papercut art pieces custom-framed and auctioned for the benefit of typhoon victims in the Philippines. It was a priceless experience. Being able to make and show my art actually did me more favor than the other way around. It saved me.
So I am happy to tell you that every glimpse, every comment, every desire to purchase, every share, and every sale goes beyond the transaction – it attests to my decision and belief that art can have a significant effect on people.
