General Care:
Store the wig in cool dry place when not in use. Most of our wigs include washing instructions on the back of the product tag. If you require replacement instructions, please do not hesitate to ask. For any wig that does not have washing instructions printed on the tag, washing is not recommended as restyling after washing will be very difficult for that particular wig. If our listings and descriptions do not indicate heat resistance, then the wig is not heat safe and heated styling tools should be avoided, however styling with the use of hot steam such as that from a portable steamer is a suitable workaround. No matter the level of heat resistance or lack thereof, avoid blow dryers, open flames, and hot ovens for all wigs!

Each of our listings state the maximum circumference in inches. It is your responsibility to confirm your own measurements before purchase! Please do not purchase a wig and then ask for a smaller or larger circumference than what is stated in the listing description as we do not carry any other circumference size than what is listed. Most of our wigs fit up to 22" inches maximum and some petite one we have up to 21" inches and each listing will say as such within the listing description. To measure your circumference, we recommend using a vinyl tape measure and then wrapping the tape around the top of the forehead at the hairline, and then down behind the ears and around the back of the head to the other side.

A lace front wig is a wig that features semi-transparent layer (the lace) at the front of the wig's hairline to give it a more realistic appearance, as the wearer's own scalp and skin at the hairline can be seen through the lace. But the lace needs to be trimmed close to the wearer's own hairline to be effective, and most lace front wigs' lace fronts are long to give wearers leeway in trimming it to their hairlines how they see fit. Orders that are requested without trimming leaves it up to the wearer to trim, and usually this is requested by more experienced wig wearers. So if you're new to lace front wigs we would always recommend ordering it with it trimmed to save you the hassle and guesswork.

Expedited shipping options are available during checkout, from 2 day shipping to Overnight. For international orders, there is a UPS Express option available. If you need your wig by a certain date that is coming soon, it is recommended that you choose an expedited option rather than asking to "ship faster". Generally, we ship out within one business day of the order, although human hair wigs may require an additional day. (NOTE: FedEx or UPS WILL NOT ship to your PO Box or Post Office! If a post office address is used, FedEx/UPS will return the package and the return costs will be deducted from the customer's refund.)

All human hair wigs, human hair pieces and human hair extensions sold at Paramount Wigs are 100% human hair! For us, it is either 100% human hair or not human hair at all. If you ultimately decide to go with different vendor to purchase a synthetic-human hair blend wig due to their lower price points, please note that the percentage of human hair can be actually VERY small but yet still be considered a blend!

Remy hair is the modern spelling of the word 'remis', which derives from the French verb 'remettre' (meaning 'to put back'). Historically, it meant that all hair in any given bundle was 'put back' to the original direction it grew in and that it was thereby re-aligned root to tip. Nowadays it means that the hair in question was never inverted in the first place because it had been cut from the donor and kept in its original grown alignment. What this means for Remy hair products is that due the fibers being kept in their original alignment, the propensity for tangling is greatly reduced and the fibers better reflect natural light, giving it the same feel and sheen as a head of healthy hair, along with a longer lifespan.

Our shop does not recommend dyeing of synthetic wigs as it can be a tricky process. However, human hair wigs can be dyed on your own end but we only recommend dyeing to colors that are darker than the wig's original color. As we are not responsible for any undesirable outcomes that may occur if one chooses to dye their wigs to another color, it is recommend that the dyeing be done by a licensed and experienced hair professional that is local to you.

No! The application of any adhesive is completely optional for the wearer and not necessary to wear a wig properly. Even all our lace front wigs are essentially "glueless" so to speak and can be worn as is (after trimming the lace) just like any other regular wig! Lace front wigs have come a long way over the decades, and the design of them today precludes the necessity of any sort of adhesive, leaving it up to the wearer's own personal preference on whether to apply it or not.

Not to worry! Here's our step by step guide on how to address this:

1. Set the curling iron to 350F. (A higher heat temperature can damage synthetic fibers.)

2. Take a small section of the wig's hair and wrap it around the curling iron barrel, starting from the tip of the hair.

3. Hold the curling iron in place for a few seconds to allow the fibers to heat up and take the curl's shape.

4. Gently release the curling iron from the hair, but do not let the curl drop. Instead, use your hand to catch the curl while it is still warm.

5. Hold the caught curl in your hand for about 10 seconds to let it cool and set in its shape.

6. Repeat this process with each section of hair until you achieve the desired curls throughout the wig!
