More than a decade ago, after the birth of his first child, shop co-founder Chris Cate began creating viral parenting humor using the name @ParentNormal.

If you’re a mom or dad on social media, you’ve probably laughed at one of his memes or observations about the crazy life of a parent. But in 2020, Chris and his wife Lori decided to use everything they’ve learned about parenthood, entertainment and graphic design to open ParentNormal Clothing on Etsy.

Chris, Lori and their three kids all share ideas for designs and products. It started with shirts for parents, but ParentNormal Clothing has expanded to make shirts for teachers, nurses, animal lovers, hikers, holidays and more.
