Before you start something new, you need an idea. For me, the idea is the story behind everything.
In order to get new ideas, you need a philosophy. My philosophy is to create things which are special and unique. For this, you have to be creative every day. My ideas are inspired by getting outside, reading books and watching movies. There are plenty of possibilities for getting good ideas.
Sometimes, small ideas grow big. That is how my Etsy Shop came into being. In the beginning, I had nothing more than an idea: I wanted to sell special things.
The name of this shop is in honor of the Ancient Greek artist Paseas. He was a painter of red and black figured vases. The fact that he was an artist in two different styles made me choose his name: As an artist, you should not confine yourself to one particular style. You should try to broaden your horizon. If you do not, you may never know if you can create art in other styles.
I think that being an artist is the best way of life. The story has just begun.
