What excites me most about curating this collection is the quiet connection between people and objects. When someone pauses in front of a piece with the same sense of admiration I felt when I first discovered it, it creates a moment of shared understanding. These objects have already lived full, layered lives and the idea that they’ll go on to witness new memories in new spaces brings me real joy.
I choose every item as if it were for my own home. I’m drawn to clean lines, strong silhouettes, and the kind of presence that speaks without needing to shout. As an art historian, my eye has been trained to notice form, balance, and visual intention — not just what an object looks like, but what it means. This perspective allows me to see design not merely as decoration, but as a distilled expression of its time, culture, and the ideas that shaped it. That depth, that quiet richness, is what I seek in every piece.
