The Story of Us

Many years back I was given a vintage vase as a gift. At that time I knew nothing about West German Pottery...I didn't even know it existed. I learned that day that the vase was produced by a ceramic house named Carstens, and to this day Carstens is in my top five favorites as far as makers go. For many years after, I never came across another vase from West Germany. That was until one day, I decided to go to Etsy and poke around.

As I had been collecting vintage vases since the beginning of time, I couldn't resist looking for this "new" pottery that I had discovered years back. I found a vase on Etsy. In fact I found four, and the rest as they say is history. Paster-Corté Mid Century West German Pottery was born!

My husband who loved it as much as I decided to get on board, and today we both are always on the hunt looking for something special!
