Announcement   I have been on Etsy eight years and I have loved every minute. However, on July 15th I will be putting the shop on vacation so that I can go through and raise all the prices. This is due to Etsy increasing their shop fees as well as charging a 5% fee on shipping. I hope to continue offering some wonderful sewing notions, vintage fabrics and quilts, but please bare with me with this changing marketplace.

About

I'm sharing my love of textiles with you!

I started my shop in August of 2010, however I started sewing when I was a teenager. For Patalier, I create quilts, fill custom sewing orders, sell vintage quilts, vintage textiles, buttons, and sewing notions. If you are looking for something in particular that you can't find, write me - you never know what I might find on my estate sale adventures.

My background is in Art History and Museum Studies. I love studying textiles and how they relate to the time period and culture which inspired their production. I never learned it was better to have a pen in hand rather than a pin.

If I'm reading, it is usually on textiles or historical fiction based on characters of the 19th century.

If I'm not sewing, quilting or running to estate sales, I'm pulling weeds from my gardens, cooking or volunteering. I've been married 42 years and I have four amazing children, two wonderful son-in-laws, and three beautiful grandsons.

  • Money Order
Returns and exchanges
Refunds are only within one week after delivery; no exceptions. A refund will be for the cost of the item only (shipping and handling will be deducted from original amount).
Payment
PayPal is preferred; I also accept personal checks and money orders, but extra time (two weeks) is needed to allow the bank to clear the funds before I can ship to you.

Additional policies and FAQs
All goods are machine washable and dryable unless specifically instructed not to do so. While I take great care to make all my quilts to withstand years of love, keep in mind they are made from organic materials that eventually break down from excessive exposure to sun, abrasion, and chemicals. With care these quality textiles can be enjoyed by many generations.
