I LOVE Embroidery!
In 1967, I was just a tween when I began sewing my own clothes and collecting embroidery transfers. Since then I have acquired hundreds of vintage out-of-print patterns from friends, thrift shops, online auctions and tag sales. I began restoring and reprinting these old patterns as IRON-ON TRANSFERS for ease of use, thus creating a demand that lead to becoming an ebay seller (under the name PatternBee) from 1999 until 2005. Eventually, I went solo with my own website in the spring of 2005. The PatternBee website serves both as an archive and a resource for rare and vintage embroidery patterns in the public domain. This Etsy shop features only a sample of offerings from the hundreds of patterns that are available on the website. I've also designed several embroidery patterns which are available at MeadowSweet WorkShop here on Etsy. I hope you will stop by and have a look. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or have a vintage pattern to share that you want reprinted as a hot iron transfer. Happy Stitching!
